Frontline PCB Solutions announces the release of version 2.80 of its InPlan™ Engineering System. InPlan™ 2.80 is a major version that marks a significant milestone in panel design technology and introduces timesaving new features, improvements and fixes.

Panel designers can now use three, four or five step and repeats to maximize panel and sheet utilization and save on material costs. In addition, stackup designers can manually assign dedicated mask materials in the Stackup subsystem while InCoupon™ users can simplify coupon testing by laying pads in buildup or impedance order.

Also in this version, engineers can reduce traveler-editing time by adding snapnotes to multiple traveler sections simultaneously. Engineers can also opt to receive notification when opening a job with unresolved issues, improving the integrity of the engineering process.

InPlan™ 2.80 is a licensed version and is available for all customers with a valid service contract.
